Hi. I need to give a little back story before I get to the actual question.
So Im abroad right now because of family matters and need to stay here for quit a lot more. My Public mobile account is on-hold right now, because when I left I didnt know that Public mobile doesnt work in my home country (Estonia). So I stopped the subscription for now.
Now Im thinking to move over to Freedom Mobile, because they offer international messages, calls and roaming.
When i want to move my number they usually send you a text message to confirm that its actually me who started the porting and I allow it or so on.
Now I want to know if there is any other way that they can confirm with me the porting (either Freedom mobile or Public mobile) than text message (email, whatsapp, etc.)? Because I cant receive text messages here!
Any info is appreciated. Thank you.

hi @VahiEst
sorry, the text approval is a required step and cannot be skipped
only workaround is to ask a friend to buy a Public Mobile sim card (or even use eSIM) and change the sim to your friend's phone. Then your friend get the porting authorization text for you on his phone and reply Yes for you to approve
