Hello,
I recently switched to Fido, but since I hadn’t paid my previous carrier, I wasn’t able to keep my old number. right now I was given a temporary number from Fido.
Could you please let me know if it’s possible to receive the number transfer authorization text on this temporary number, or if it can be done by email instead?

You need to reply to the confirmation text with the ACTIVE PM SIM in your phone. You will need to reactivate your PM account for another 30 days if it is suspended.

do you want to port the "temporary" number from Fido to PM? Yes, you can
for the "old" number, it was a PM number but the account was suspended at the moment
(you should update your post and remove both numbers as this is a public forum)

if your question was you are now with Fido and you want to transfer a number from PM but the account is currently suspended, then you need to pay and resume the service before you can port a number from PM to Fido. But if the account with PM was suspended over 90 days or more, then the account was closed and you cannot get the number back
