Here is an explanation by one of the oracles Luddite. "SIM network PIN blocked. Enter SIM network PUK." is asking for the phone’s (often Samsung) “master code" after entering the wrong code too many times. Samsung and/or your previous carrier can give you this. "SIM network unlock PIN" is asking for your previous carrier's unlock code - just contact them with your IMEI and they'll give it to you. If you enter this incorrectly too many times, you'll get the error message above. “PIN unlock key (PUK)” is a SIM-specific code used to prevent unauthorised use of a SIM card. The PIN (Personal Identification Number) enables secure access to the SIM card and network. It is provided with your SIM card. If the PIN code is entered incorrectly 3 times, the phone is locked (except for emergency calls) and requires a PUK (Personal Unlock Key) to reactivate it. Once the PUK is recovered and validated, you will be asked to choose a new PIN. Only Public Mobile's moderators can give you this type of code, which the device manufacturer cannot. Public Mobile's moderators can be contacted at the following address: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437 Caution! If the PUK is entered incorrectly ten times in a row, the SIM card becomes unusable.

is your phone locked on your previous provider or on Public? If from a previous provider, you can call them and they wll unlock the phone for you. Free of charge. It should not be locked on public as they do not provide phones.
If you have an iphone you can also call apple and they can let you kow abou the unlocking process. I would assume it would be the same for any brand of phone.

@Dallas1 , are you referring to SIM Personal Unlocking Key (PUK) code ? If so, you need to get that from the moderator team. The moderator team can be reached via private message using smartforms which is initiated by clicking on the ? on the lower right corner of the webpage or try using this link. The guided process will facilitate documentation of the issue or concern and the required resolution which will be submitted to the moderator team. Refer to this announcement link for additional details on smartforms and the ticketing system for moderator team interactions. If use of smartform brings no joy, then use the following direct link to private message the moderator team. Refer to the following knowledge base article for additional information on the moderator team.
If you are running a locked phone and need the unlock code, then contact the service provider that the phone was purchased from. They will be able to supply the code free of charge.

What phone are you using and which carrier where you on previously when it worked?
- If it is a Samsung phone you can navigate to the Canadian Samsung website and live chat with a Rep. Ask them you need assistance to unlock your phone. (You will need the IMEI # ready and the model of your phone. i.e. Samsung Galaxy S10)
- Carrier: Navigate to the carrier website and live chat with them ask them the above question!
