Hi,

thanks for the suggestion. I just ordered a new esim from the app and was charged/credited $5 so i didnt pay anything. I had already opened a support ticket but honestly waiting 1-2 hrs for a response was too long.

i also realized i entered the “wrong” sim pin because i never set one before. Default sim pin on pm is 1234. Anyway thank you so much for the suggestion!!

CS_agent will not monitor the community forum and also no longer accept direct message

with your PUK issue, what was the exact error message? Depends on the message, you have to ask the PUK code from different places

If it is a Samsung and if the message is "SIM network PIN blocked. Enter SIM network PUK." ,
call  Samsung 1-800-726-7864 for a master unlock code.
The only info you will need to provide is the IMEI and where the phone was purchased

If the message is “PIN unlock key (PUK)” or "Enter PUK Your SIM  Card, SIM cannot be accessed" or on an iPhone's status bar showing  "Locked SIM"
  • If you have an eSIM: a quick way is to buy a new eSIM using the app.  Login PM app on the phone.
(If you have problem with receiving 2FA code, click "Didn't Receive code" or "Resend code" and choose either "Send email" or "Send Voice Message")
Once logged in, Click Account from the bottom, then click Purchase SIM Card and select eSIM and follow the prompt to complete and purchase and install eSIM on your device
  • If you have a phyical SIM card:  open ticket using Public Mobile Expert Messaging , Select Start a Chat to begin (You will need to use your current Community account to login to submit the ticket):
              https://expert-messaging.publicmobile.ca/guest/pre-chat
**You'll get email/sms alert when agent replies. or monitor here: https://expert-messaging.publicmobile.ca/message-centre

If the message is "SIM network unlock PIN" or "SIM ME lock code NP" or "SIM not Supported" or on an iPhone's About->Carrier Lock showing "SIM locked"
You have to ask the carrier where you got the phone from for the carrier help unlocking it.
(Sorry, for this particular issue, PM support would not be able to help)
