Promotion $29 20GB

John_feeney

A new user is going to sign up with Public Mobile and will be choosing the $29 20GB service which is a promotion right now.

They are wondering if this is a plan that at some point in the future (ie after 90 days) will expire on them and they will be forced to upgrade to a different plan such as the $39 plan?

Public Mobile can change the terms with 30 days notice, but it is very unlikely they will increase the price but they still have the right to.

I do not recall PM ever increased price of existing plan once you signed. Unless there are some small print (introductory offer, blah, blah, after X months price will be, blah, blah) price and service will stay the same.
Exception was old $10 plan increased to $13. But I guess it was to get rid of stragglers and force them to $15 plan.

“Public Mobile may change the Services offered, including rates, and any term of the Agreement, at any time. If required, we will
give you notice of these changes in writing, at least 30 days before the effective date.”

Of course. Let's do the math here.

Your $29 promo you want.

$29 a month with 20GB of 4G data. Once your out of 20GB, you have zero data to use unless you purchase an add on.

The plan I suggest instead....

$34 a month on a 90 day purchase. So $102. You get 50GB of 5G data and unlimited data throttled at 512kbps. You get the 150GB of data up front.

Just sharing..  🙂

Thanks for getting back

No @John_feeney  once you're on the plan, you're on the plan. Locked in unless you choose a different one.

However, if I may suggest, you should consider this one which is $5 more and WAY more data. 90 day subscription though. So better than the one you want.
