I received an email from public mobile giving me a discount if I activated my account again. In order to claim it I need to provide my email in the “username (email address)” box which I did, but for some reason it will not let me continue as it keeps saying that the email address isn’t available. Is there a way I can fix this?

Hi @lotr4lyfe
Are you trying to activate your sim card using that address where you received the promo?
If yes please contact moderators for help https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
If not, please do try
Welcome back:)
Edit: it's best to just incognito mode with clean cache. Avoid apartment number and the space in postal code. If your son gets locked in a session, wait 50 minutes for it to be released and try again.

Is the message saying it's not "available" or its not "a valid email"? Try clearing your browser, use secret/incognito mode in firefox, chrome or safariband try entering it again by typing in the entire email address key by key.

If you received the promo and the system does not allow you to use taht email address to activate you will need to conatct the moderators vis SIMon the chat bot. click teh questionmark on lower right and type contact moderator.
@Tiana_V this is the second or 3rd person with similar issues that I recall seeing. Is there something that can be done to avoid this especially when the offer nears expiry?
edit. misread the question.

You must use the email address that received the message. It will create a new account, not update your current one.
