Promo code not accepted

Dealer gave me promo code and it was not accepted when I activated SIM card. What do I do?  It was for new number. New account. Etc.

hi @JadenT if  you activated within the time this promo was still valid  PM CS Agent likely able to apply it back for you 

 

Please open ticket with PM CS Agent to sort that outopen a ticket with Chatbot at: https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot. Follow this to get to ticket open screen quicker:

 

  1. type: Contact CS Agent
  2. Click "Contact Us"
  3. Click "Other"
  4. Click "Click here to submit a ticket"
  5. you will then direct to another page to open ticket.

    After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent

If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can also send a private message to the moderators (but this can take longer):

@JadenT  - if you met the terms and conditions of the promo explain what happened to customer support agents, and that you tried to add it but it did not work.

it was the 12month2GB promo and I have the higher plan with auto pay.

What was the promo code for?

 

2gb for 12 months or $10? This promo code will require a minimum $25 or higher plan. It doesn’t apply to $15 plan.

 


If you are referring to the referral code for a $10 credit, double check the code and don’t mix “O” with zero and the number 1 with “I”.


Both are on the last page 4 on the activation page.

@JadenT -  if you could not enter the promo code during activation for some reason, tell customer support agents (CSA) what happened and ask them to add it on for you.

 

If you did not get your refer a friend referral code entered either, you can ask them to have it added as well so you receive $10 off your next renewal.

Hi @JadenT I think that was a friend referral code you got. put the code as friend refer on page 4 of the activation .  If still not working , activation first and open ticket with PM CS agent after
