I am currently not able to send SMS text messages from my phone and I need this fixed please

If you just ported your number to PM. Calling and data will be done right away. Texting is the last feature that will work but it may take up to 2 to 4 hours to complete the porting for texting to work.

if you are new PM subscriber and ported your number over, make sure you removed the old provider sim card, or disable the old provider esim

Then Reset network settings after a device reboot

if you are using an Android, you might also want to clear app cache first

if none of those helps and you are using Android, you might want to uninstall Google Message and reinstall it after a device reboot
