I setup 2 new accounts and transferring 2 numbers from another service provider. I followed the same steps as provided. The first one was completed successfully with no issue. The 2nd one seems to be just half way through. My Public mobile account and the esim are showing the number that I wanted to transfer in and I could make phone call, but incoming calls and SMS messages are still going to my old service provider.

Thank you for the information provided.
After creating a ticket, the CS agent helped to re-initiate the number transfer and my number was successfully transferred.

hi @anniese what you experiencing is normal when the port is not done yet
Did you get a text from the old carrier, did you reply Yes within 90 mins?
and can you receive inbound phone calls, especially from Non-Telus/Koodo/PM phone? If you cannot the port was not done
