How exactly are you supposed to pay an upcoming bill in advance? I can login, look at my account, check usage history etc. etc. But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to pay my upcoming monthly bill without having the previous bill expire. I.e. I have to wait until my account is deactivated before paying?

while your in there, prowl around and click different tabs to familiarize yourself with website and what you can do there. It takes a bit of lookin' but you'll figure it out, I'm certain. Welcome to PM.

1. Register a credit card (should already be there depending on how long you've been here) and make a payment in the payment screen
2. With that registered credit card and your 4 digit account pin dial 611 to make a payment.
3. Buy vouchers in lots of stores or online and enter them in the account or using 611 and not need the account pin.
4. Use the real time payments method in a few stores.
But if you've registered a card and have the subscription toggled on (autopay) then it will pay at renewal rather than paying in advance.

Ah I see. It's just the website is horribly optimized, so if you're not in full-screen the entire left hand tab section is not visible.

you can load $$ into Available funds for next renewal. Log in to you account / Payment / Add Funds to Account
