Hello,
Trying to port from Videotron and activate a new sim.
I receive the following error message:
"We were unable to transfer the phone number you entered. Try one of the following options:
- Make sure you entered your number correctly.
- Select a new number.
- Contact the public mobile community for further assistance."
I entered the number correctly, I do not wish to select a new number...so I am contacting the public mobile community for further assistance

maybe your phone is locked on videotron network. Gotta call them to have it unlocked.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I did contact the Mod Team and I hope to hear back from them soon.
Also, the line will not be used for business anymore..I just mentionned the fact that it's a business line in case it changes the porting process.

@papyrus I would not recommed to port business line to PM, you can not get help from call center, try and message the MOD
Business line is important to you, why would you used PM for business ?
You can write off Business line expense through your tax

@papyrus I would not recommed to port business line to PM, you can not help from call center, try and message the MOD

Hi you need to contact the mods and they will do it for you.
Contact the Moderator_Team by clicking here.
In your message include:
- account email address , pin number if possible
- PM phone number
- explanation of what is happening or a link to this thread
- if its a porting issue include your sim number, old account name and account number
