Porting from SpeakOut 7Eleven ???

Hello,

I activated my Public Mobile SIM card a few hours ago. I am able to make outgoing calls but I am unable to receive calls/texts with my Public Mobile SIM. I am assuming that this is because the port has not been completed. How long does the # porting process typically take? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks...so just to confirm I don't need to have my Public Mobile SIM in my phone for the number to be ported...correct?

It can take anywhere from an hour to 2 days.  Stay patient.  I suggest continuing to use the old service.  When that stops working, port is complete.
