I am trying to get my service from Lucky Mobile switched to Public Mobile. I activated my new sim and received a text saying I haven’t replied to the message authorizing the switch but I never received a text. It asks me to reply with ‘1’ to receive a new text. Which I did but I still didn’t get any messages. My new sim is in my new phone and was receiving a few texts but has stopped. I tried calling the number in the text for help but no one answered my call. What can I do to finish porting my old phone number?

I have a problem, i removed and installed the Public Mobile Simm on my phone and initiated the port from my previous provider. I waited for a day and I may have missed the text sent by the previous carrier, how do I re-initiate the port? I have put back my old simm card.

Does the old number still work on your old SIM card/phone?

So, your Lucky service is still working? it is likely an issue with Lucky moble, but sometimes, the text could come late. Still leave your Lucky mobile sim card in the phone if you have not receive the text yet
I understand @Handy1 has sent you a number last night, but porting team was closed at that time. Call back this morning after 9am and you would be albe to talk to live support. They can re-trigger the process. If you still not receive any text 2 hours later after you talked to the porting support team, check with Lucky rep and have them to check why the porting authentication text was not sent out

Additional info on porting
When transferring (porting) your number to any new carrier it’s important to remember to leave the old providers SIM card in the phone until you receive the confirmation text from old carrier @that point you have 90 mins to reply YES to the confirmation text … also when going thru this process the new provider will want you old providers account number and will ask for IMEI number disregard this (IMEI) number as it has a tendency to just cos porting hiccups .. so if your ready to port to pm and already activated a SIM card you can go to your self serve serve profile tab and change /transfer (port) number this can also be done on activation but it’s advised to pick a temp number first then port
