I am trying to switch providers. Received the authorization text to transfer my number and replied yes immediately, over 12 hours ago. Nothing has happened. How long does this take? How do I get a status update? Is there someone I can talk to about this not working?

for porting out, you have to check with the new provider to see what there was the delay
