Porting Issue

Allison11

I signed up for an eSIM card for my account and received a message that there was a transfer issue due to incorrect ESN/MEID. Trying to find out how to fix this issue as I was not contacted by Public Mobile

That text message from Public Mobile contains a mistake.  There's no such thing as an ESN nor a MEID as neither have been used in Canada for several years.

hi @Allison11

did you provide the IMEI for porting info?  IMEI can have issue.  But PM porting support team can help.  I have sent you the porting support team number.  Please check your Community inbox (https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage), check for the number and call.

And in case the poring team cannot help and ask you to submit ticket (or you rather submit ticket anyway),  you can submit  ticket by direct message:
          https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

Remember CS_agent will reply to your Community inbox within 2 to 4 hours, please check your inbox here:

you need to provide the account number of your old provider.   Call PM porting team and ask them to update the information and resend porting request

I can't post the number here, but I will message the number to your community inbox.  Please check and call them (but it is now closed, call tomorrow morning)
