Yah it's been great for me too. The only con I am seeing now is there is no customer support. I'm needing to transfer my phone number to Freedom mobile as I got a new phone that came with plan. And Public mobile has not replied to my messages for 3 days.

@Andrew43 You don't need an agent for a transfer to new carrier. As long as your account is active PM swill send you text to authorize the transfer. Follow Freedom's procedure to initiate the transfer.
