You said "My account has been deactivated" and you said "My account was in good standing" , which one is true?

Call 1855-4PUBLIC and enter your number.  If the recording say :

  • you account is active, it is good and can be ported.  You need to login My Account and get the account number from Profile page
  • If says it is suspended and need to resume before a particular day, you need to make a payment to resume to port
  • If recording says cannot find the number, sorry, it cannot be port

Finding your Public Mobile account number is straightforward, though it is usually hidden by default for security. You can find it using any of the three methods.

Log into your Public Mobile My Account portal. Navigate to the Profile tab. Look for the Account Information section. Your account number will be listed there, but partially obscured. Click on the "eye" icon (👁) to reveal all 12 digits.

You can also check your Activation Email you received when you joined Public Mobile, if you still have it.

@Murman7 sorry, number from deactivated account cannot be ported

If your account was only suspended for non payment for less than 90 days, you can pay and resume service and then try to port out

If you account was suspended over 90 days, it is permanently closed and the number cannot be ported

To port your number to another service provider, your Public Mobile account must remain active.
