I have an old plan, for which i pay 126 dollars, payable every 3 months. My question is: the 3GB data is that over 3 months ( so 1 GB per month ) or is it 3GB every month?
Is there a better plan for a similar price that i should be considering. Thanks

you can switch to any plan for 30 days and visit Here to view all plan .
you can Change Your Plan online,
When you’re changing your plan, you can choose to change immediately or at your next plan renewal date. To change your plan: sign in to Self-Serve, select ‘Change Plan’ on the Overview page, select the plan you want, and scroll to the bottom of the page.If you’re looking to apply a promotion to your plan, learn how you can do that here.
Changing your plan on the next plan renewal date
We recommend you choose this option because it allows you to use the services you have already paid for until your next plan renewal date. Here are some things you should know about this option:
Changing your plan immediately
You may choose to change your plan immediately if you have used all or most of your services, or if your account is suspended and you would like a different plan. Here are some things you should know about this option:
What will happen if my payment wasn’t completed?
In this scenario, your account could still move from suspend to active, re-starting your plan cycle and potentially only reactivating a portion or none of your services. If you find yourself in this situation, simply go to the “Payment” tab in Self-Serve, choose “One Time Payment”, and opt to pay the “Amount Due”. This will cover the new plan cost less any partial payment that was taken. After successful payment, your services should be fully reactivated. If your services aren’t restored, please start a conversation with our virtual assistant, SIMon, to submit a ticket to Customer Support Agent by CS_Agent, click here.

the 3GB is for the 90 day period, so it is more flexible
You are paying around $40 per 30 days, current $40 plan is 5GB with Autopay.
Also, since you only have 1GB per 30 days on average, even the $25 plan would be a better deal
Not sure if you are getting LTE data, if so, you will loss the better data speed if you move to existing plan, but likely you are saving some money

What benefits are you enjoying with that grandfathered plan? Per month, that works out to $42/mo as opposed to the $25/mo that @hairbag1 mentioned. You can always get an Add-on to help with any surges in data you use too.

- This plan includes: -
- - 3 Choices with Provincial Talk
- - 3GB Data
- - Unlimited Canada-wide Talk
- - Unlimited International Text
The 3GB of data is the total for 90 days...you can use it all at once or spread it over 90 days.
Have a look at the $25 plan with talk/text and 1Gb of data.

Edit...use Autopay and get $2 Autopay Reward every time plan renews. $25 plan = $23 (plus taxes) with Autopay enabled.
+1. This is a much better deal. The only thing that is a step backwards is the data speed. Using 1GB every month, it would be hard to notice the data speed change.
