After a frustrating trip to the USA where I couldn’t access either data or voice/text I’m trying to figure out what went wrong. If I remember right this subject was talked about before but due to Public needing a verification to my phone I wasn’t able to verify that it was me. Wow lost my data for gps when I hit the border. Any ideas?

next time to go US, make sure you connect to T-Mobile or AT&T. Some also said Verizon works. Remember to turn off 5G and use only 4G or LTE. And manual network connection if automatic does not connect

Actually, when you go to the US, sometimes your phone won't connect. Therefore you have to manually do it one time, then it should remember next time you go down.
Go into your network settings, turn off automatic and choose T-Mobile. Also make sure you have Data Roaming turned on. And finally, make sure your phone has VoLTE. If it doesn't, then it won't work at all.
