In the quarantine will you have access to Internet?
Consider using TextNow on your smartphone, they will give free Canadian office number with free unlimited world texting as well as unlimited talk to USA Canada and UK. Great option while you wait for your sim to arrive

Looks like you only have 3 months, not 6 months. After 3 months your phone is disconnected. At this point, you may want to use google hangouts or line app for calling. Your number will not be reinstated. You can try to get your number back if it is available.

Missed a payment? After your plan expires, all you need to do is top-up your balance to keep the current plan going. You have up to 90 days to make a payment and, after doing so, your payment cycle will restart and your service will resume. After 90 days of non-payment, your account will be permanently deactivated, which means you will:

Hi @Farrahdill
Welcome back
Sorry for that, once the account does shut down the sim is totally useless, also the email may have issues registering for new account. If you use Gmail you could use aliases as name@gmail receives all the emails for n.a.m.e@gmail or na.me@gmail.
Account is held on suspention only for 90 days, less than 3 months

Not much of a paper weight, @gblackma ! Lol Maybe for a single sheet of TP. I hear they are prescious in some places these days.

@Farrahdill PM might be faster than Amazon. When I ordered mine at the end of March they were delivered two days later.

Perfect. I really appreciate all the help

You order them through PM or Amazon.ca.

I will be on quarantine for 14 days. Could I order a sim online?

@Farrahdill as we mentioned in the prebious post, there's no way to reuse the same SIM card here at PM. You can keep it but it's paperweight. You can order a sim card here.
https://store.publicmobile.ca/cart Again welcome back. Stay safe.
While you wait for your new sim card, you can add a voip app such as TextNow and use it over WiFi to make/ receive/ send calls and texts within Canada and to the US for free.
@computergeek541 duplicate post, please merge. Thanks.

Your account gets deacitvated after 90 if there is no payment. You would need to purchase a new sim and setup a new account using a different email.
