Phone plan Canada-US-Mexico, does this mean you can use your phone in Mexico too or just call Mexico?

Good question. Seems like the mainstream cellphones are compatible...iPhones, newer Samies or maybe even newer Motorola's. Before you actually buy it, come here with make / model you're considering and someone can let you know.

point to consider...for talk whilst in US only, you MUST have a cell that is VoLTE enabled and recognized by Public Mobile as VoLTE ready. Here's a link for some further reading with a devise compatibility checker at bottom of page.

You don't necessarily need a VoLTE enabled cell in Canada or Mexico as we still have 3G for calling.
Another point to consider...when you return from Mexico, you may not be able to easily downgrade plans to something cheaper. Your current plan might not even be available.

Calls work to any of the 3 countries while you're in any of the 3 countries.

With the Canada-US, Mexico plan you use your phone for calls and data just as you would at home.
