Hi
Regards to the emails you are sending me have a phone number that is not related to my account. The phone number in the header under PUBLIC MOBILE is 8971. I have never had a phone number like that.
I looked in my profile and there is no such number.
Please advise.

Yes, 8917 is not my number too. But just use the code to login.
My Account is new and still not have lots to fix

that when you get verification code 6 digit number by email is showing that number, just ignore it and i think to all customer is like that me to getting this number. and maybe the new system not complete yet.

I think you can just ignore it.
Also, be careful as it could be phishing
But if you want to get to the bottom of it , open ticket with PM CS Agent
at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot. Follow this to get to ticket open screen quicker:
start by typing : Contact CS Agent
then Click "Contact Us"
then Click "Other"
finally Click "Click here to submit a ticket"
you will then direct to another page to open ticket.
After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent
If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can also send a private message to the CS Agent (but this can take longer):
