I just had my number transferred. I cannot receive calls or texts and I just want to know how long that process takes to complete. I can't access anything because I can't do 2FA. Can't even sign in to my public account because I can't receive the 2FA text. Won't send it to my email anymore.

thanks @Chalupa_Batman
@JohnaC0227 have you opened ticket yet?
and if the automated system hung uoz it usually mean the port was completed and the issue is just account activation. Make sure you ask the agent to refresh your account

I did call them. I've called multiple times. It askes me for my number to transfer, then it says there is no transfer request for that number. I then get routed to Koodo and they say they will send me a text. The issue is that I can't receive texts or calls right now.

"I had already tried that number a few times. I get transferred to Koodo and then get hung up on by the automated system."
The answer is right there. The next option for them will be to create a ticket which the link has been provided.

Sadly, this is what happens here at Public Mobile. It's a self serve service and you have to send private messages to them and getting things resolved can take hours and hours of back and forth conversations, even up to 24 hours or more. Might want to consider porting to Koodo instead if you prefer to speak to a person.

Sounds like your porting request didn’t work.
There are two options. There is a number you can call that is primarily used for Koodo and Telus but some have had success using it with Public Mobile porting issues. Please go to your inbox using this link to see the number as they don’t allow the number to be posted on the forums.

Alternatively, and according to Public Mobile CS Agents, since Public Mobile is a self serve service, they prefer you create a ticket. Here is a direct link on how to contact a CS Agent.

During business hours (9 AM-10 PM EST) you can expect a response within 30 minutes, but it may be longer depending on current volumes.
