Phone number transfer has taken 2 weeks

I transferred my number from an eastlink account to this account, and was told the number transfer might take a couple hours. it’s been 14 days, I am unable to receive any calls, and now i’ve been charged for this service that is not available to me. Eastlink is telling my my transfer is still pending, and I see no reason for this to take this long.

@Bianca6   I've messaged you the number (it's for porting only and not to be posted on the public forum).  Check either the envelope icon top right or tap/click your avatar if no envelope and select Messages from the drop down.

That would be great thanks. I did not receive a text from eastlink, I was originally on an added line on a plan with someone else. I took over this account from someone else. I can make calls, use data, send and receive texts but I cannot receive calls. Eastlink has said that the number porting process is still pending.

@Bianca6   I can private message you a phone number to call for the porting team and hopefully they can sort this out.  Did you get a request text from Eastlink asking if you authorized the transfer, to which you replied YES within 90 minutes?  Can you call out but just not receive calls?  What works and what doesn't?
