Have new SIM card on phone for 3 months, phone not working properly. Data glitchy. Phone calls can not be received, wheatger wifi or data on. Can it be a faulty SIM card?

Have you tried switching SIM card with another good working phone?
You'll see if it's the SIM or your phone.
If it's your phone, you can do a network settings reset, even consider a factory reset as last resort.

@LucasS What kind of phone you have? brands and model?
Did you get the issue everywhere or more likely from a specific location, like home or work?
Try changing to 3G only and see if it helps
It could be SIM issue, but why you got the new SIM 3 months ago? similar issue? I wonder if it is the device issue
