Phone not working

Have new SIM card on phone for 3 months, phone not working properly. Data glitchy. Phone calls can not be received, wheatger wifi or data on. Can it be a faulty SIM card?

have other phone with same monthly and have no problems

Have you tried switching SIM card with another good working phone?

You'll see if it's the SIM or your phone.

 

If it's your phone, you can do a network settings reset, even consider a factory reset as last resort.

you can try reseat the SIM card and Make sure your phone is off before removing your SIM card,

1. power off your device

2. take out the SIM card,

3. waiting a 1 minute,

4. put it back and power on,

5. toggling airplane mode off/on,  

 

and you can try to reset network settings and Changing APN Settings,

you can test your SIM card in another device to you know the issue from SIM card network or your device issue.

@LucasS   What kind of phone you have?  brands and model?

 

 

Did you get the issue everywhere or more likely from a specific location, like home or work?

 

Try changing to 3G only and see if it helps

 

It could be SIM issue, but why you got the new SIM 3 months ago? similar issue?   I wonder if it is the device issue
