Phone disconnecting

My phone is hanging up during calls. Just started doing this a few weeks ago, never had an issue before.  I am wondering if anyone else has had an issue with this problem

This has started happening to me from the beginning of April. I have been with Public for over a year and never an issue beforehand. I have an iPhone 15.

I'm still unclear what is causing it, but I seem to have fixed it (still early) by setting the Voice & Data to LTE (From 5G Auto). The setting is found in Cellular/Cellular Data Options/Voice & Data.

I'm wondering if the signal perhaps is too weak and tries to hop between bands, leading to the phone call being cut. I have made a few since the change and no drops since.

Hope this helps others in the future.

@Lou70   It hasn't happened to me but I don't usually have very long phone calls.  Is your phone VoLTE enabled?   Do you have it set to 3G, 4G/LTE or 5G?

I did a 3 hour call a couple of months ago. There was no disconnection.

It could be just a bad connection or the location.  If this happened a lot in different locations,  then you can try to switch your network connections to another available network in your phone. Or try turning airplane mode on and off. Reboot phone.
