I'm just curious, for people having porting issues, are you using your IMEI number for the port and, if so, where are you obtaining the number from on your phone?

When activating the SIM and signing up, it never asked for my IMEI #.

It only asked for the phone # and the account # from the previous provider.

Okay, this is good to know. I've done a few successful ports so far using the account number and the IMEI.

When you type *#06# into the dialer, does it match the number you used for the port? or is that where you obtained the number?

I've been telling people to use the account number and nothing else. 100% success rate so far 18 people ported

Yea used imei and been waiting like almost 30 hrs now still only partially done.

Always get the number from your dialer by typing in: *#06# 

The number on the sticker or in settings isn't always correct.

I'm just wondering if this is what's causing a lot of these issues.

There are 3+ ways to find the IMEI number on your phone!

- on the back or where you put your SIM card in

- by dialing *#06#

- in your setting

Don't even have the option to get past the check number :3 Tried different browsers and have waited to the next day. I have pm'd the mods and sent a support ticket though.
