I ordered a $50 plan and an hour later changed to a $45 plan. How will I be charged? Will I be doubled charged or will the $50 one just be changed to $45?

your payment card will be dinged for $50 + $45...$95 + tax. As a rule, Public Mobile policy is no refunds. In your case, rather than request a refund I'd ask Customer Support to credit the extra payment to whichever plan you wish to keep....but ask nicely !!

Technically you will be charged for both of them. They do not refund or give prorated credits.
You can send a private message to ask. The normal ticketing system appears to be broken.
