I became a customer of Public Mobile on March 23/25. Was unable to use my phone for entire evening and March 24/25 went back to my previous provider. My first month payment came out even though I cancelled my plan not even 24 hours. There is no one that I can speak to to give me my refund. How is this even possible?

I don’t think anyone is actually listening to what I am saying. My phone didnt work for almost 24 hours. No one was able to help me or answered me. I am 67 years old and have health issues. If something happened to me, I couldn’t get a hold of anyone. And then they take your money even though you haven’t used the service. How is this even good customer service to the customers? PM should have thought of this when putting this program in place. There is nowhere where you can cancel the service and get a refund for the time not used. PM should have this in their program.

PM is prepaid provider and won't refund because you simply don't like the service. They will only provide refund if the is problem with the activation

Public Mobile is a pre-paid cell provider and won't be refunding you as you opted to go elsewhere after activating the account. If you went to another Telus flanker, you could ask them for consideration.
added...you could ask though..use this link to message Customer Support..
