Hello there I have never checked anything off like that I usually just pay my bill through the 611 number on my phone at no point did I ever request having money withdrawn from my bank account from you

are you a Public Mobile customer?
if you entered your credit card information, you authorized pre-authorized payment .
Look back at the screenshots I hope you took of the activation to see the notification clearly displayed.

@RobertLegge did you join just join and this is the first renewal?
When you joined, at the payment step, there is a term saying the credit card will be used for automatic payment and you have checked the box and agreed (the process won't proceed if you didn't check the box and agree)
You can login My Account and disable that. Go to Payment page, Manage Subscription and toggle off "Subscribed" won't won't charge iagain after this cycle

Are there any other people in your household whom you have given permission to use your card? If not, you'll need to work with the Public Mobile cusotmer support agents. Please open a ticket using the chatbot or if that doesn't work, send a pirvate message to CS_Agent.
