Why did I get charged on Jul 20, 2026 for A Top Up of $16.75 when I did not request or need it?

that was a $10+ tax difference.  Probably you have a $10 credit somewhere and hence the payment this month is less.

But you said you always have enough funds to cover, you load funds to your account ahead of renewal?

again, you need to post us screenshot of this payment and also the renewal transaction from last month for us to understand and help out

was that a regular renewal?  when was the last time you got charged for renewal before July 20? Remember, when you setup PM service, you have clicked a check box and allow PM to enable automatic payment.  So,  PM will renewal the plan for you automatically unless you turn Autopay off afterwards

you can login and go to   My Account-> Payment history and show us a screenshot of the transactions, show us this July 20 transaction and the last renewal, probably in June 20th

Click on the Payment tab for a breakdown of the charges.

If you had funds available for your payment and it didn't cover the full amount, then your cc on file will automatically be charged the difference. 

How much he is your normal bill?
