I know my credit card works but it still wont let me buy this subscription, and i have tried multiple times

Did that payment method work before?  Did you recently update? 

The website is finicky.  Maybe try a different web browser, clear cache or incognito mode. 

Or try dialing 611 on your to make payment.  

If you don't have service and need it right away, you could also purchase a payment voucher at a store (ie. Shoppers, Gas stations) and load up right away. Then you can figure out your credit card issues.

Many, many report similar issue when they try to update credit card info.
