Paying 26.99 for a 25$ plan w/ autopay but no discounts?

Hello, as per the subject line I've signed up for a 25$ plan and using autopay and should be discounted for 2$. I'm just trying to understand if the increase I'm paying are taxes at a rate of 26.99$ for a final amount to pay. Any clarification would be appreciated.

Hi,

It's most likely because of taxes, so $25 + tax and the $2 discount will be subtracted off of your next payment.

I picked a $40 plan and had to pay almost $45 because of taxes. However, my next payment will be around $43 because of the autopay discount.

I hope this helps!

@computergeek541 Thank you very much. I just looked at my credit card account and i got 2$ + 2$ credit for autopay. I also got 1$ referral reward for referring my wife and also a 10$ credit for being referred to join PM last month. The credit card was only charged 10$ plus tax last night.

It's Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian I frequently get either that or Russian (latinic version) thrown in when gesture, it's an lg device you can pick the language but every time it gets confused it picks up from another language. It's possible that my fingers are just too fat for it

What the heck language is that? And why?

I'm not sure why don't they honor the autopay right away with the first charge. My suspicion is that it probably has something to do with the account setup and flags on the account. After the initial payment I always see the rewards applied to the account before the credit card withdrawal only the initial one is backwards.

And sorry for typo, I have tons of languages and couple of alphabets too installed on this tablet, I'm not the only user and autocorrect picks randomly sometimes

Sorry...I was meaning the non-English word in there. I see you edited your original post but apparently I caught it before you did. Just wondering what language that is and why would you insert into the other English writing.

Assuming that you had autopay enabled as soon as you signed up, some time in the middle of the night/early morning, you will be charged $21+tax for this renewal, so yes.

The autopay bonus for the first 30 days gets paid out late and is only usable during the first renewal.   You will also be getting a second $2 discount, and that's why this one renewal will be $21.

@maheshboloor you are absolutely correct.

If you check your account statement you will see that you have 2 on it, it happens that the second cycle you collect for both first and second cycle autopay reward. After that it should be steady 2 as long as it's registered for autopay.

I do suggest you manually top up your account, you still connect the reward but you decrease chance of missing the payment if the credit card charge fails for any reason

Customers pay full price for the plan during activation.  The $2 for Autopay gets paid as a double reward for the first renewal.

Revco, your first payment would have been slighlty more, so I am thinking that may have caused some confusion.

Thanks for letting us know:)

I'm sorry everyone, I'm being billed correctly. My eye sight sucks lol I'm being billed 25.99$ per month for my plan which is 23$ plus taxes which comes to a total of 25.99$ (sigh)

Again sorry everyone and thanks.

If you click on payment history it should be more clear

If you don't see the autopay reward being applied to your account just before the payment is made you should contact the mods

Also check your sms they should have sent you a message about the rewards

Cheers

@RevCo  Sounds like they forgot the autopay discount which has happened to me 3 times and then added tax on the $25.  You will need to contact the mods to have a look at your account.

Hi

It should be 23+tax

That would be 25.99 where I am

Which province are you in, you are paying 1 more.

You're not charged 25+tax in Ontario as that withdraw have been 28.25

Seems a little rich. Should be $23 plus GST plus provincial tax (or HST).
