Paper invoice request

Hi there @Community!

I'd like to sign my elderly father up for a phone plan but he doesn't use credit cards. Can he be sent a paper invoice? We already bought the sim card so I really hope you can help us.

@CatherineLummis as this is a prepaid service that isn't possible.  What you are looking for is a post paid service where you get an invoice and then pay it.

@CatherineLummis   Unfortunately, that's not possible and payments always needs to be paid in advance as this is a prepaid service.  Maybe vouchers might work best as they can be added via 611 if CC or Debit Visa is not possible?

@CatherineLummis   PM is prepaid service, so he'll need pay with a CC/Debit Visa or voucher every 30 days.  Vouchers can be purchased from many retailers like SDM, London Drugs, 7/11 or Shell and added to the account by dialing 611 on the phone, however, this needs to be done before each renewal date for uninterrupted service.  Otherwise you can register a CC or Debit for pre-authorized payments in self serve account.  Very occasionally autopay might fail, although is is rare, then a manual top up is needed by logging into the account to reactivate service.

 

If you make manual payments in the self serve account (CC/Debit Visa or voucher), then immediately after the payment, there is an option to download and print off an invoice.  Unfortunately, that's the only time you can get a proper invoice (noting tax), otherwise you need to contact support to get an official invoice if not done at time of payment.
