Unfortunately, PM doesn’t have roaming in Panama but if you and all of your friends have WhatsApp. You can call or message each other when connected to wifi or on the local SIM data.
On another note, If you want to keep your number. You will need to keep your account active with AutoPay (Subscribe) button enabled for the 9 months while in the Panama.
Or you can pause or suspended your account for a maximum of 90 days then activate your account with a monthly payment for the next 90 days and pause again for another 90 days and activate your account when you return.
Remember don’t wait until the last minute to reactivate your account so do it on the 86 days encase there are any issues reactivating or your will loss your number, SIM will stop working and your account will be closed.
