Paid bill yesterday but can’t dial out

Hi - I paid my bill and my husband’s bill yesterday and could dial out. We can’t dial out today and get a message stating that we need to pay our bill. Help!

@GKS1, are you able to go into the self serve and confirm the account is active or suspended.  Look also in the payment history to confirm payment has gone through.  If payment was made, the you will need to seek moderator team assistance to restore service.  It seems like there has been a number of affected accounts with payment going through but service spuriously disabled.  The moderator team can be reached via private message using this link.  Please include a detailed description of the issue and the required resolution. This will speed up problem resolution significantly. Refer to the following knowledge base link for additional information on contacting the moderator team.

Try the lost/stolen phone trick:


1. Login to your self-serve account.
2. Report your phone lost/stolen using the Plan and Add-Ons tab then select the Lost/Stolen Phone option
3. Wait 5 minutes
5. Report your phone found.
6. Re-start you phone

 

If that doesn't work then contact Public Mobile here:

The link sends you to the private message function and adds the moderator team as recipient for a private message. You just have to enter a title and text in the body of the message describing the problem and post. The message will be received by the moderator team and they will respond to it. You will receive the response in your private message inbox.

 

Moderator Hours: Monday-Friday 8 am(Eastern) to 12 am(Eastern) and Saturday, and Sunday from 8 am(Eastern) to 10 pm(Eastern).

There is a weird glitch going around right now. If you want to get it fixed there are a couple hacks you can try go get it to re-activate either by paying the entire due balance, or if its already in available funds add another $1 to the account or the lost or stolen trick. Log into self serve. Click Plans & Addons. Click Lost/Stolen phone. Click Suspend service. Log out of self serve. Reboot phone. Wait 10 minutes. Log back in. Go back to the same place and say found phone. Reboot phone.

 

Otherwise you have need to contact the mods and hold tight, wait time is currently looking like 4 days to hear a response from them. Click this to message them.
