I attempted to port my number from Telus but it always failed in the app when I tried to verify. After trying this numerous times and failing each time and sending support requests (and getting no response). I gave up and decided to go to another carrier. However, when I tried to port my number over the other carrier said I couldn't because a port request had been sent by PM and that port request would have to withdrawn by PM. I sent a number of messages to support on this matter and I sent two messages to two moderators to CANCEL the port request. Until PM cancels the port request I am unable to port my number over to another carrier.

PM at this point has not ported my number over and I don't want them to port it over anymore. However, my other carrier (Virgin Mobile) that I want to put my number over to says that PM has an pending request to port my number over that is blocking them from porting my number over to Virgin.
So currently I am back to using my old carrier Telus, while I wait for PM to cancel the port request to Telus so Virgin can proceed with their port request to Telus.

you can't port a number if you did not pay for the plan yet. Have you tried inserting your PM sim to your phone to see if it is working? I know when i tried to port my number over it said failed but everything was working when i put my sim into the phone.
maybe try the steps below to see if your number is actually ported or not.

Nope, I was not able to sign up at that time to any of PM's plans because of the incomplete port at that time.

Have you already been charged by public mobile? Unfortunately if you've already sent a [riovate message, you're now in the queue and at the mercy of the mods. Not much else you can do right now. I know it sucks to hear. Maybe facebook or twitter, i've heard some people had success there.
