Hello people,
I tried out PM in downtown Toronto. Although I do not work there, I had to go there today for two meetings. One in the Financial District and another near Eglinton subway station.
Well happy to say that PM worked great throughout and most of the times on the subway stations too. I was earlier on Wind and it was really difficult to get hold of the network even when I was well in the open in these areas.
I tested data speeds and was constantly getting 17-18 mbps on LTE and 10-12 on 3G (at some places where LTE network was not available, mostly subway stations)
I believe currently only Wind has tie up to provide network at subway stations.Look forward to Telus /PM also getting permission to provide network below the ground so that the network is seamless between subway stations.
Cheers !

true @srlawren
specially in the downtown area a mobile network should work the best.
and toronto is definitely the centre of 'our' universe. i love the energy in the downtown area of toronto.

Thanks for the feedback, @neo911--sounds like a great experience!
To be quite honest, if a mobile network can't consistently deliver a good-or-great experience in the financial district of Toronto, it's probably not a great network! In outskirts or rural areas one might expect and tolerate some issues, but in the downtown core of the country's biggest city (and self-proclaimed centre of the universe--by self I mean the city, not myself), you'd expect them to nail it. Also in Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, etc. Nuff said.
