Good Day everyone,
I have moved to BC since October but I am still being charged for 13% Ontario tax. Could anybody help me ASAP? Thanks

I am having the same issue except I moved from Ontario to Alberta. Were you able to have your account adjusted or did you have to change your phone number?

A formal complaint.... for what @aspsarv2
It makes perfect sense for a service provider to charge a user of a service for which region a service is assigned from.
In the case of mobile phone providers, the AREA CODE determines the region, thus determines the applicable regional tax rate.
No purpose in filing any type of formal complaint. Even one to the CCTS would be unsuccessful, but you can try - fill your boots below:
CCTS Questionnaire - Complaint Resolution Form (ccts-cprst.ca)

You may have an Ontario area code number. - some will also do it in reverse by living in Ontario and having a lower taxed Alberta number. Your solution would be if you’re in BC to switch to a BC area code number. Good luck and be happy you live in BC

@aspsarv2 if you decide to stay with an ON number, you can save the tax by buying vouchers from stores locally and the load the vouchers using *611 9r My Account. Tax will then be charged by the stores based on BC rate

Seeing as how calling is Canada-wide, how would they know you live somewhere. Then, the profile address doesn't affect that because again calling is Canada-wide so it doesn't matter where you live. And also that your address is not verified and proven. You can put anything you like in there. So each province has their own set of area codes. That's how they decide which tax to charge. You could even pick an AB number and pay only GST.
As it is, your people back in ON can call you without needing their own form of long distance calling. But folks in BC would need to call you in their form of long distance. And of course doesn't everybody have Canada-wide by now so it really doesn't matter. So area code it is.

@aspsarv2 You tax paid is based on the area code of your phone number , you would need to charge it to a BC number
Change # on profile tabs
Add you could buy vouchers in bc pay the tax there on it and load it you account and keep you original number
