@HeddleTown  - if there are no outages reported in your area try some troubleshooting below:

*turn off your phone, leave off for a few minutes, then reboot

*removing your SIM, then reinserting it

*go into airplane mode, then going back to regular mode

*perform a reset network settings on your device

*Is your phone locked? Contact your previous provider to unlock it for you. You will need your imei number, dial *#06# to get it.

*Check if your phone is blacklisted here: https://www.devicecheck.ca/check-status-device-canada/

*manually select the 3G / WCDMA ONLY network in your Mobile Connections area in your settings (temporarily) for dropping or unable to make incoming/outgoing calls

ediit: perhaps you could share if this is a new or existing account?

if just newly activated and still no services after suggestions given ask customer support (CSA) for assistance: two ways to reach them here: https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/contact-an-agent

@HeddleTown   There is no outage according to Telus status page:

https://www.telus.com/en/nu/outages

So, you didn't see any signal at all? Did you login to My Account and confirm if your account status is Active?

do you have a 2nd phone to put the PM SIM in and see if it connects?

any friends in your area on Telus or Koodo ?  Check with them if so

@HeddleTown

You can check on the Telus outage map:

https://www.telus.com/en/yt/outages

But it doesn’t show any outages in your area.
