Offer from 5474

Erin_

I got an offer from 5474 but there are no details and the wording is poor.  It says "Get 8GB of data at 4G speeds" then "Reply YES to get this ADDED to your account"  Is this an additional charge or replacing my existing plan?

There is no URL to view the offer details.

You will get the data it mentioned and all the calling features you have now (caller id, call forwarding, voice call, conf. call)

Or if you like,  ask PM to  reply you with an official answer

Just open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA when login, you might need to use email to receive if you cannot receive the text on the phone.) Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen

Or message them using this link:

This was also my main question. The plan I accepted did still have all the features I wanted to keep. If it didn't cancelling the change an option.

I too was worried about lack of detail. The new plan didn't show up immediately but now that it has I see that I can cancel the change.

So have no fear of you accept you can cancel it if you decide it isn't what you want after seeing the details.

But for me the plan is excellent. The price is almost the same but what I get is significantly more much of witch I won't use because I don't travel but the GB's are what I need. So I'm happy.

Without seeing the message directly,  usually sms from 5474 are legit.

If you find that it's worth it, go for it.  If your on the $15 plan, it would be worth it. Just keep in kind that once you accept the offer and it's processed, you cannot go back to what you had before.

I recently received an offer to upgrade plans through this method, though I didnt accept it.

Ya I am wondering the same! And whether if it still includes unlimited Canada wide calls, but looks like Susan answered it.

These are usually legit offers. This offer would replace your existing plan at the next renewal.

What plan do you have now? The offers are usually better.

Sometimes when you log into My Account the same offer is there.

All plans are standard, unlimited calls, texts , call forwarding, sms, mms and international sms.

Once you accept the offer, it will take about a day or 2 to reflect in My Account.

@Erin_  if you are happy with your current plan - id stay stick with it. Or have a look at your account for any available plans to switch to.  Although the msg may be legit, Id say stay clear if it gives you a bad vibe!  EDIT - any plan change would override your existing one - so always set to "change on renewal" to not lose any unused minutes or data
