Obtaining a Refund Due To Service Outage

MasonJackson12

Ported into PM yesterday amid the website issues of BF and ran into complications when activating the eSIM rendering the plan useless due to not being able to get signal whatsoever.

Decided to port out the same day due to these issues and unable to contact support. However I have already been charged for the service. I would like to obtain a refund. If anyone from PM could reach out to open a ticket and process the refund I would appreciate it.

As a prepaid service PM is not likely to offer refunds. You can try going through customer support:

Via private message at https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

Or via ticket at https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html

If you're not able to obtain a refund, considering the circumstances, you could always try to file a complaint with the ombudsman:

File a Complaint About a Cell Phone Or Mobile Company (ccts-cprst.ca)

Hi @MasonJackson12

They usually don't give refunds as this is a pre paid service. You can reach out to a CS agent and speak to them about what happened. Can't make any promises.
