Are you porting your number into or out of PM?

Hi @Candace6
How to port number from “Blank” to Public Mobile
First, make sure your number can be ported by checking on this link
https://secure.koodomobile.com/checktransfereligibilityparrot/default.do
If you haven't open an account with Public Mobile, please download the Public Mobile app to sign up. Once you're in you can go online and follow these instructions.

Then on your right side you’ll see this box. Click on Transfer Phone Number.

Then enter the number you want transfer and continue to next step

NOTE: Keep your old providers SIM card inside the phone until you get the confirmation text. Say YES. But wait just a bit longer until you no longer see your old provider's name up top. Once it’s gone, try making a call to test. If you can not make a call using your old providers SIM, the transfer has gone through.

@Candace6 Into PM you can do it on activation or after activation in your account profile page . But when you do just use your old providers account number and not the IMEI ignore it . And leave old providers SIM card in phone to reply YES to the confirmation text to port

To Public Mobile, or out from Public Mobile?
Basically, you need to keep the SIM card in the device from the prior provider, then respond "YES" to the port authorization request sent by the prior provider.
Then, replace with new provider SIM card, reboot device, and you should be good to go!
