Where are you porting your number from? Is it prepaid or postpaid?

See if your number passes this test. It's for all of Telus, Koodo, Public.

@gemyu2022

If you have activated a new account and transferred over from another provider, note that incoming calls are usually the last to port over.

So, use the previous provider's SIM card to receive calls from. When the incoming calls stop that is a good indication the port is complete.

Cell ports can take 2-3 hours.

Landline/voip ports can take 3+ days.

If still issues (and, if that number @dabr provided didn't help you first) submit a ticket with Public Mobile representatives for help; click this link: to request the transfer of your number over to Public Mobile.

@gemyu2022    Did you respond with a YES to the transfer request from your other provider?  Keep your old SIM in the phone until the text is received and responded to and keep that account active until the porting is complete which will close out that account once the number is successfully transferred.

If you missed the text from your old provider, I'll private message the Telus porting number you can call for assistance.  Check your message box top right for the number.
