Tried transferring my number from Bell MTS, got an error message saying looks like I entered an incorrect ESN/MEID. Someone from our team will contact you shortly using your original phone number or the alternate number provided. Unfortunately like a muppet, the alternate number I provided was the old PM number getting changed (facepalm) and is no longer working, can anyone help me out? Thanks

Use the account number of your old carrier and not the IMEI
Call the porting support team to update that. I will message you the number. Please check your Community inbox

@Steel387K no one will contact you , but No worries I’ll send you the porting team number private message and just give them the Old providers account number and ignore the IMEI . It’s not needed and they can re trigger the port request for you . And remember to leave old providers sim in the phone to reply YES to the confirmation text to transfer number
