Hi,

Can we port public mobile to other network and can we change it to pre-paid to post-paid in any other network.

There are some restrictions. It isn't as simple as saying "any" network.  Number portability rules need to followed. While prepaid/postpaid doesn't make a difference, the new carrier has to be able to give out phone numbers for the same city as your current phone number (even though you would be taking a phone number with you to the new carrier).

@Navkirat   Yes you can but keep the PM account active until the transfer is complete and also keep the PM SIM in your phone until you've responded to the number porting request with a YES within 90 minutes window of receiving it.

You can also log into your PM account and disable (toggle off) the pre-authorized payment if you have a payment card on account or ask customer support to remove the card from the account via chatbot here:  https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html

@Navkirat Yes you can port out the number. It doesn't matter what sort of plan the new one is.

@Navkirat , yes you can.  What kind of service is offered by the new provider has nothing to do with Public Mobile.  There is no designation that a number has to be used for prepaid or postpaid.  It is all up to you provided the service provider offers the required type of service.

Of course you can port out. The other kind of service has no relation to what service this is. It's just your number.
