Not receiving calls/text outside of CA/US

I have a data plan for the country I'm in with another provider and I have my Public Mobile # as the default voice line on my iphone both sims are on and data roaming is on for the PM line I've also tried using PM as the cellular but still nothing comes through

If you had set up call forwarding to a voip app before you left then you could get calls on the voip app.

If you had left the sim at home in a phone and left on then there are text forwarding apps that can forward texts to that voip app.

You having the sim out of country right now leaves you with the possibility of someone buying a sim and then you changing it in your account and then they put it in a phone and get the app and forward calls and texts to your voip app.

Failing that then no...no way.

@novatrooper  No sorry PM won’t work outside Canada /US and no way to forward texts .

Adding with iPhone if you have wifi /internet you can send and receive iMessage with other iPhone owners

So there's no way to get calls/text from my PM phone number while abroad? I have voip but it's of course a different phone number. Is there any way to forward text from my PM number to another?

@novatrooper  sorry PM only works in Canada and the US with US roaming . Best to get  a local pre paid SIM card in your destination

Use local data sim and VoIp app for calls

Your PM service will not work outside of Canada or USA (without an add-on)

added..for free calling and texting to most any Cdn or US number while you're abroad, they downloading a free voip app such as TextNow. It'll use either your foreign data and/or your local wifi.

@novatrooper there are no Public Mobile services outside of Canada and the USA (with Roaming addons only).
