Not receiving OTP, no numbers blocked.

I'm not receiving OTP for my VISA card transactions.

Many OTP work from banks, government, apps. Just this one VISA issuer I'm having issues with. I unblocked every phone number in my SMS settings.

@Parsley   Crypto.com is US.   Do you know if the text send by Crypto or DC Bank?  If Crypto, it could be the reason that it is from US and most US 2FA short code won't deliver to Canada

Can yo use other mean of 2FA like Authenticator app or email or phone call?

Hopefully a CSA can sort this out for you because OTPs are so hit and miss and not just with PM

I've been with PM for about forever😺 But, I ported over from Freedom Mobile many years ago.

The VISA card is crypto.com issued by Digital Commerce Bank. It's a VISA card specifically for Canada.

I contacted crypto.com support and they had a list of possible causes:

If you haven't received the one-time code via SMS, please check below for the most common issues:

• The phone is blacklisted from receiving promotional messages.
• The phone is ported from another mobile service provider.
• A mobile carrier is a virtual carrier without its infrastructure.
• The phone is in roaming status.
• The phone is used in a country with strict regulations regarding non-transactional text messages.

If you still don't receive the code, please follow the steps below:

• Restart your device to reconnect to your carrier network.
• Free up memory by deleting old messages.
• Make sure your device is active and in good cell coverage.

I unblocked every number in my SMS settings.

I ported over from Freedom Mobile many years ago.

I informed them that Public Mobile is a virtual carrier.
My phone is not roaming.

Canada is not strict with SMS transactions.

I restarted my phone

My memory is not full.

I have full cell coverage.

Informing crypto.com support that I have completed the above. They sent me the following message:

Could you please contact your mobile carried and check with them if they are imposing any restrictions on your OTPs as from our side, all of them were successfully delivered?

@Parsley   Did you just activated with PM and did you port your number from another provider?  If you just ported, those shortcodes / 2FA texts might not come until couple days later.  Some could take as many as 3 to 7 days

Also, the one from Visa you are expecting is from Canada, right?

@Parsley hi if most OTP work it may be an issue with visa have you contacted them directly
