Hey I can see a few others are having issues with the verification of Apple ID. I too have sent in a request but have heard nothing back. This is quite annoying for new customers.

@Jennifernoyes - Your Welcome! 🙂 Hopefully some back and fourth with apple or PM may resolve this issue many PM customers are experiencing today. Just today the posts about this issue are about every 3 posts on the forum.

@Jennifernoyes - Unfortunately not - we are just PM customers like you trying to resolve people's issues.

But today... woah. There have been a spike of posts about this issue. More than likely it may be on Apple's side of things. Please give them a call and see what they think of this issue:

But some have also been experiencing RCS (Android) activation issues today, so it could also be a PM issue.

@Jennifernoyes - Yeah, that really sucks. Seems like a lot of people are experiencing this issue today. Doesn't show any issues up on Apple's Service Status.

Better to just either wait for PM's reply to the issue or to contact Apple about the issue

Honestly this is really annoying. I haven’t been able to get sms texts all day and once in a while I get an iMessage from my email Apple ID

No they are gone and not on the bill anylonger

@Jennifernoyes - Does your old provider's SIM card still work? If you don't know where it is - please try login to your account with the previous provider and see if it still works.

@Jennifernoyes - Please contact Apple Support if it isn't helping because all numbers should work with iMessage if in the SIM manager:

I can’t even get a verification code sent to me to confirm my number

@Jennifernoyes - Do you have a days countdown till the number gets deleted off of iMessage? Please click on "Remove Number for FaceTime & iMessage," reboot your phone, then iPhone will detect new PM SIM and ask to use it in Messages & FaceTime - click Yes and reboot. iMessage should work.

Can you please enable MMS and Text Messages (SMS) in Settings > Messages?
