I am starting to regret coming to Public...
I am not getting the service I should be getting...
In some area within North York I get no service at all... No data!
This is a joke.
I'll stick around for 1 more year and if this problem continues I will cancel.

I only left b/c they keep raising the price and it was so annoying.
It is so expensive to own a phone these days.
Maybe I'll look into Freedom.
Have you tried them before?
Then I would suggest going with Fido, chatr or zoomer to keep the same coverage at a lower cost.

You can check this info on the Getting Started page and using the phone compatibility tool here https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-started
Nope those are not my model I own.
I think maybe it is b/c of the lack of towers around the area I am in and that is just ridiculous to find that Public isn't patching things up.
Just a couple more months and I am out of here.
They don't care so I don't care.
Not getting any help here either...

Your coverage right now is dependent on Bell.

How long has the service been poor ? Did it ever function satisfactorily ? Have you tried putting the sim in another unlocked phone to see if maybe that would help ?
Price is good for what I get. Not best but good.
I don't have another phone and I might even leave earlier if others offer a great deal this black friday deals.
I guess Public really hates their customers.

@PublicEcho Public uses Bell and Telus towers for data so you should be getting good coverage within North York. Maybe there was an issue with one of the towers. What type of phone do you have?. Make sure your preferred network is set to LTE/UMTS....
Edit: Hopefully you are not using a phone with limited band support.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
It works in some areas but it doesn't in others.
It is set to LTE but I don't get why service is so bad...
